Per una selva oscura e divertente: as punições do inferno de A divina comédia segundo a desciclopédia

Abstract

A proposta desta tese é procurar respostas acerca da possibilidade de compreensão da Divina Comédia, de Dante Alighieri, por meio de um paratexto, que se localiza no âmbito do risível: a página virtual Desciclopédia. E, dessa forma, a partir dessa perspectiva de pesquisa, constatar se essa análise singular pode se desdobrar em uma orientação de leitura da obra do poeta italiano. A investigação, delimitada às punições do Inferno e à interpretação dada a elas pelos autores da Desciclopédia, se propôs a questionar se é possível, pelo riso e pela recriação inusitada de uma obra clássico-canônica, entender o paratexto aqui em questão enquanto literatura que comunica, conecta e instiga o contato com a obra de referência - a Divina Comédia. Para tanto, a pesquisa se utiliza dos seguintes modos do risível: a sátira, a comicidade e o humor, como ferramentas para encontrar as brechas, espaços, soleiras no poema, que dão a possibilidade de interpretação risível e, assim, aproximar texto de paratexto.

Abstract: This thesis aims to seek answers about the possibility of understanding Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy through one of its paratext, located within the scope of laughable: the webpage Desciclopédia, the Brazilian Portuguese language version of Uncyclopedia. From this perspective of research, it is verified if this singular analysis can be deployed in a reading orientation of the works of the Italian poet. The investigation, focused on the punishments of Hell and its interpretation by the authors of the Desciclopédia, proposed to question, if it is possible to understand this paratext as a literature that communicates through the laughter and the unusual re-creation of a classic canonical work, whoch connects and instigates a connection with the work of reference - the Divine Comedy. In order to achieve that, this research approaches modes of laughable such as the satire, the comedy and the humor as tools to find the gaps, spaces, and threshold in the poem, which makes laughable interpretations possible, and thus bring text closer to the paratext.
