A ressignificação do poeta na figura do saltimbanco: Aldo Palazzeschi

Abstract

A descentralidade da figura dos poetas, a fragmentação do eu poético, bem como a melancolia de alguns poemas do período de transição entre o final do século XIX e início do século XX, apontam para questões significativas que são pensadas nesta tese. Sob essa perspectiva, a partir da imagem do poeta-saltimbanco, é feita uma leitura de poemas de Aldo Palazzeschi, um dos precursores da poesia moderna italiana e figura atuante no futurismo, cuja obra pervive na literatura contemporânea. Assim, a identificação de Palazzeschi com a imagem do saltimbanco permite observar a ressignificação desse poeta e da sua poesia como uma predisposição para o moderno.

Abstract : The decentralization of the figure of the poets, the fragmentation of the poetic self , as well as the melancholy of some poems from the transition period between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, indicates significant questions that are reflected upon in this thesis. Through this perspective and from the image of the clown (or, the saltimbanco) poet some poems by Aldo Palazzeschi, one of the forerunners of modern Italian poetry and Futurism s active figure, are critically read as to show that Palazzeschi s works survive in contemporary literature. Thus, the identification of Palazzeschi with the image of the saltimbanco allows one to observe the ressignification of this poet and his poetry as a predisposition to the modern.
