Novas práticas de maternagem e feminismo das mulheres da plataforma Cientista Que Virou Mãe

Abstract

A maternagem foi tema pouco desenvolvido no feminismo de segunda onda, apesar de tratar sobre maternidade. No século XXI ambos os temas passaram a ser discutidos com maior regularidade e profundidade, sobretudo por grupos ativistas e autoras feministas. Esta pesquisa investiga como as mulheres atuantes na plataforma digital brasileira Cientista Que Virou Mãe contribuem para este debate. Para tanto, evidencia novas práticas de maternagem através do trabalho destas mulheres na plataforma e da história oral relatadas por cinco delas durante entrevistas, que constituem as fontes desta pesquisa. O primeiro capítulo narra o desenvolvimento da plataforma Cientista Que Virou Mãe no contexto da Primavera das Mulheres no Brasil, enfocando a presença política das mulheres mães. A Primavera das Mulheres ocorre desde 2015 no país, envolvendo protestos na Internet e em ambientes públicos. O segundo capítulo analisa as entrevistas e observa como as mulheres da Cientista Que Virou Mãe narram suas relações familiares junto às questões de gênero, o trabalho doméstico e as referências de mulheres de suas famílias. O terceiro capítulo destaca o feminismo matricêntrico e as contranarrativas de maternagem das entrevistadas, para mostrar como elas atribuem suas práticas de maternagem as suas militâncias feministas. Por fim, destacam-se os potenciais de transformação social das mulheres mães com posicionamentos feministas.

Abstract : Mothering were themes few developed in second wave feminism, despite treating about maternity. In the XXI century, these themes have been discussed more frequently and deeply, especially by feminist activist groups and feminist authors. This research investigates how the women from the platform Cientista Que Virou Mãe (A Scientist Who Became A Mother) contribute to this debate. To do so, highlighting new practices of mothering through their work on the platform and their oral history reported by five of them during fieldwork interviews as sources of this research. The first chapter describes the development of the platform Cientista Que Virou Mãe in the context of the Spring Women's in Brazil, focusing on the political presence of mothers. The Women's Spring has been taking since 2015 in the country, through protests on the Internet and in public environments. The second chapter analyzes interviews and observes how women of the Cientista Que Virou Mãe talk about family relations and gender issues, addressing household chores and references of women among their families. The third chapter highlights the Matricentric Feminism and interviewees' counter-narratives of mothering, to show how they attribute mothering practices to their feminist militants. Finally, the potential for social transformation of women mothers with feminist positions is highlighted.
