Restaurações em dentes anteriores fraturados: Fundamentos e técnicas

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar uma revisão de literatura a respeito da prevalência de dentes anteriores fraturados, assim como dissertar acerca de algumas técnicas restauradoras para dentes anteriores fraturados, além de demonstrar técnicas utilizadas no passado. As técnicas abordadas neste trabalho abrangem, colagem de fragmento dental, pinos rosqueáveis e a convêniencia da confecção de bisel em restaurações de resina composta em dentes anteriores fraturados. Com este trabalho foi possível constatar que o avanço da tecnologia nos sistemas adesivos e resinas compostas, tornou possível a realização de restaurações estéticas e funcionalmente excelentes, sem qualquer tipo de preparo, preservando assim estrutura dental sadia.

The objective of this study was to review the literature on the prevalence of fractured anterior teeth as so to discuss about restoration techniques on fractured anterior teeths and demonstrate the techniques used in the past. The techniques covered in this study includes dental bonding, threaded pins and the convenience of bevelling in composite resin restorations on fractured anterior teeth. It was observed that the advance of the technology in the adhesive systems and composite resins makes possible the accomplishment of restorations esthetically and functionally excellent without any type of preparation thus preserving healthy dental structure.
