Um estudo de caso sobre cabeamento estruturado em ambiente hospitalar

Abstract

Este trabalho propõe um projeto de cabeamento estruturado, a um ambiente hospitalar que é o cenário do estudo de caso. Inicialmente foi levantado artigos no estado da arte referente a rede de computadores em ambiente hospitalar e e-Health, logo após, foram realizados estudos dos conceitos fundamentais sobre cabeamento estruturado e suas normas referenciais. Posteriormente, foi escolhido uma metodologia para realizar a análise do ambiente de estudo com o objetivo de coletar dados. Com base nas informações recolhidas, foi apresentado a situação atual da infraestrutura de rede do estudo de caso, descrevendo os problemas e dificuldades encontrados. Em seguida, foram propostos mudanças com o objetivo de solucionar os problemas encontrados, visando melhorias no desempenho, padronização e qualidade, assim como também, foi previsto o quanto a rede local pode se expandir futuramente, seguindo alguns critérios hipotéticos e de acordo com as informações obtidas. Desse estudo, foram gerados documentos que podem servir como, parâmetro para execução de fato de um projeto de cabeamento estruturado ou influenciar outros projetos a cerca desse tema.

This paper proposes a structured cabling project, to a hospital environment that is the scenario of the case study. Initially, articles on the state of the art regarding the network of computers in the hospital and e-Health were collected, and afterwards, studies were carried out on the fundamental concepts of structured cabling and its reference standards. Subsequently, a methodology was chosen to carry out the analysis of the study environment in order to collect data. Based on the information gathered, the current situation of the network infrastructure of the case study was presented, describing the problems and difficulties encountered. Next, changes were proposed with the objective of solving the problems found, aiming at improvements in performance, standardization and quality, as well as, it was foreseen how much the local network can expand in the future, following some hypothetical criteria and according to the information obtained. From this study, documents were generated that can serve as a parameter for actually executing a structured cabling project or influence other projects around this theme.
