Satisfação de Discentes no Curso de Ciências Contábeis em Universidades Públicas

Abstract

A insatisfação discente na universidade é prejudicial para todos, visto que a satisfação só contribui de maneira positiva para a Instituição de Ensino Superior, a ele mesmo e à sociedade em geral. Assim, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo verificar a satisfação dos alunos de Ciências Contábeis, na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), na Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR) e na Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (UNIOESTE), com o curso e com a universidade. A pesquisa é classificada como qualitativa; quanto à natureza do objetivo, classifica-se como descritiva. Como procedimentos técnicos, utilizou-se o levantamento (survey) por meio de questionário. A amostra resultou em 298 respondentes: 162 ingressantes e 136 concluintes. A maioria é do gênero feminino, de 17 a 20 anos de idade entre os ingressantes, e de 21 a 25 anos entre os concluintes. Dentre os aspectos relevantes para os alunos ingressantes, encontram-se a infraestrutura do curso e da universidade, a qualificação e didática do corpo docente, bem como a grade curricular voltada ao mercado de trabalho. A maioria dos alunos está satisfeita com a infraestrutura da universidade e do curso, qualificação e didática do corpo docente. Os aspectos positivos, apontados por unanimidade nas três universidades, são o amplo mercado de trabalho que o curso proporciona e a qualificação do corpo docente. Dentre os aspectos negativos apontados, o mais citado é a adequação da grade curricular. No geral, a maioria dos alunos considera-se satisfeita com o curso escolhido e com a universidade.

The student dissatisfaction at the university is negative for all, as the satisfaction only contributes positively to the higher education institution, to himself and to society in general. Thus, this research aims to determine the satisfaction of students in Accounting at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR) and the State University of Western Paraná (UNIOESTE) with the course and the University. The research is classified as qualitative; the nature of the objective, is classified as descriptive. As technical procedures, we used the survey using a questionnaire. The sample included 298 respondents: 162 freshmen and 136 senior. Most are female, aged between 17 and 20 years among freshmen, and between 21 and 25 years among the senior. Among the relevant aspects of the freshmen, are the infrastructure of the course and the university, the qualification and teaching faculty and the curriculum focused on the labor market. Most students are satisfied with the infrastructure of the university and of course, qualification and teaching faculty. The positive aspects pointed out unanimously in the three universities are the broad labor market that the course provides, as well as the qualification of the teaching staff. Among the negative aspects pointed out, the adequacy of the curriculum is the most cited. Overall, most students is satisfied with the chosen course and the university.
