O presente trabalho trata da elaboração de ilustrações de poesias da cultura negra. Pretende-se nas ilustrações intensificar as mensagens contidas nas poesias, complementando o significado e despertando emoções. Optou-se pela metodologia de Munari (1981) com adaptação para o desenvolvimento deste projeto. Identificou-se o público alvo que são poetas e apaixonados por poesias frequentadores de Saraus literários e nas instituições de ensino. Elaboraram-se pesquisas bibliográficas de autores do Design Gráfico, com o intuito de aprofundar conhecimento da sintaxe e dos elementos básicos da Comunicação Visual. Referências online enriquecem a paleta deste projeto, através de imagens de vários ilustradores, possibilitando identificar técnicas e efeitos visuais diferenciados. Este projeto, através da ilustração, pretende contribuir para a conscientização, divulgação e o despertar da cultura negra onde encontramos muito conteúdo e pouco interesse por parte das grandes editoras.

The present work deals with the elaboration of illustrations of poetry of the black culture. The illustrations are intended to intensify the messages contained in poetry, complementing the meaning and arousing emotions. We chose Munari's methodology (1981) with adaptation for the development of this project. It was identified the target audience that are poets and passionate about literary poems Saraus frequenters and in educational institutions. Bibliographical researches of Graphic Design authors were developed, with the purpose of deepening knowledge of the syntax and basic elements of Visual Communication. Online references enrich the palette of this project, through images of various illustrators, allowing to identify techniques and visual effects differentiated. This project, through illustration, aims to contribute to the awareness, dissemination and awakening of black culture where we find much content and little interest on the part of the great publishers.
