O mercado de Streaming de jogos eletrônicos

Abstract

Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar os modelos de negócio dos canais de transmissão de jogos eletrônicos, buscando conceitua-los quanto a rentabilidade e ao seu funcionamento. Assim, o estudo possui uma abordagem qualitativa, com técnicas de pesquisa descritiva e de natureza aplicada, utilizando dados de natureza primária e secundária. Na análise, foi possível identificar os principais atributos do modelo de negócios dos portais e assim elaborar um CANVAS contendo o modelo de negócio com os elementos principais do mercado, assim como foi identificado o método de entrada de recursos dos modelos, que consiste em propagandas, assinaturas e doações voluntárias dos usuários, além de assinaturas “Premium”. Verificou-se também a importância das competições de jogos eletrônicos para a rentabilidade dos portais de streaming e que a recíproca também é verdadeira.

This study aims to analyze the business model of the streaming channels of videogames, seeking to describe regarding its profitability and operation. Therefore, the study has a qualitative approach, with descriptive techniques and with applied nature, fed by primary and secondary data. In the analysis, it was possible to identify the main attributes of the business model of the streaming websites and, that way, was possible to elaborate a business model CANVAS, containing the business model with the main attributes of this market, just as it was identified the main input financial method, which consist of advertisements, subscription to channels and voluntary donation from the users, besides the premium subscriptions. It was also found that the E-Sports competition is very important for the financial input for the rentability of the streaming channels and the reciprocal is also true.
