Inserção de livros de literatura e de filmes cinematográficos o acervo da biblioteca da ELETROSUL

Abstract

Nesse estudo tem-se como objetivo geral analisar a demanda da Biblioteca da Eletrosul após a implantação de livros de literatura e filmes cinematográficos no acervo. Para tanto, foram elaborados três objetivos específicos: a) verificar se houve aumento de usuários na biblioteca após a inserção de livros de literatura e de filmes; b) pesquisar se livros de literatura e filmes cinematográficos incentivam a leitura; c) questionar os usuários quanto à sua satisfação referente ao acervo de literatura e de filmes da biblioteca. Procedeu-se a uma revisão de literatura que forneceu o referencial teórico para o estudo. Nos procedimentos metodológicos caracterizou-se o universo da pesquisa e a tipologia da pesquisa, a qual se configura como aplicada, descritiva, de levantamento e qualitativa. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um questionário com questões de múltipla escolha aplicado de janeiro a maio de 2013. A análise dos resultados obtidos permitiu concluir que: a) depois da inserção de livros de literatura e DVD’s com filmes cinematográficos os empregados da Eletrosul frequentam mais a biblioteca; b) após a inserção de livros de literatura eles leem mais; c) muitos usuários se dirigiam a biblioteca para pegar um filme e acabaram realizando empréstimo de livros de literatura; d) a maioria prefere livros a filmes. A pesquisa serviu também como indicador dos gêneros literários e filmes cinematográficos que mais agradam o usuário, o que possibilita melhorar o acervo desses itens na biblioteca da Eletrosul. Além disso, o espaço aberto no questionário para sugestões, críticas e observações enseja uma continuidade de estudos, o que a acadêmica pretende realizar no futuro.

This study aims to analyze the demand of the Eletrosul Library after the insertion of literature books and movies into the collection. Therefore, three specific objectives have been elaborated: a) to check out whether there was an increase of users in the library after introduction of literature books and films, b) to investigate whether literature books and movies encourage reading c) to question users about their satisfaction regarding the literature and movie collection. A review of literature was made, providing the theoretical framework for the study. The methodological procedures characterized the research universe and typology of research, which is configured as applied, descriptive, and qualitative survey. For data collection we used a questionnaire with multiple choice questions applied from January to May 2013. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that: a) after insertion literature books and DVDs with cinematographic films, Eletrosul employees started to visit the library more often b) after insertion of literature books they started reading more, c) many users ran to the library to pick up a movie and ended up loaning literature books d) most prefer books to movies. The survey also served as an indicator of literary genres and movies that most pleases the users, which allows the improvement of the collection of these items at Eletrosul library. Additionally, the open space for suggestions, critics and observations in the questionnaire has shown the demand for a follow up study, which the student intends to conduct in the future.
