Title: UMA ARQUITETURA MODULAR PARA REDES OVERLAY PEER-TO-PEER DESCENTRALIZADAS COM SUPORTE A COMUNICAÇÃO SEGURA, PERSISTÊNCIA DE DADOS E APLICAÇÕES DESCENTRALIZADAS
Author: Anderson, Simioni Assunção
Abstract: This work presents the design, implementation, and experimental validation of a modular architecture for decentralized peer-to-peer overlay networks. The proposal separates physical nodes, responsible for connectivity and transport, from virtual nodes, responsible for application identities and logical interactions. The AnonNetCore prototype implements peer discovery, distributed tables, route construction and execution, physical and virtual sessions, relay forwarding, TCP and experimental UDP transport, reliable delivery, and byte-range content transfer. Security combines SHA-512 identifiers, ML-DSA signatures, ML-KEM key establishment, and AES-256-GCM-SIV authenticated encryption. Validation uses Docker clusters, integrated smoke tests, an HTTP/WebSocket API, observability tools, and a social-network proof of concept. Results demonstrate functional integration among discovery, routing, distributed persistence, virtual communication, and external applications. The work remains an experimental MVP: complete NAT traversal, attack resistance, public-network scalability, and formal security auditing remain future work.
