De lar a museu: um estudo das ações educativas do Museu Casa da Cultura Lydia Frey.

Abstract

O presente estudo aborda as ações educativas do Museu Casa da Cultura Lydia Frey, a partir da perspectiva da educação museal e do contexto específico da tipologia de museu-casa. O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar as ações educativas do Museu Casa da Cultura Lydia Frey, pensando a sua estruturação e eficácia. Como procedimento metodológico foram realizados encontros online, visitas presenciais, análise de documentos e anotações realizadas no museu, fundamentados e explorados através de levantamento bibliográfico. Tornou-se possível compreender o contexto em que a instituição está inserida, conhecer a história da cidade até a construção da casa que mais tarde se tornou o museu, bem como estudar a família responsável por sua construção, que também contribuiu para a origem da cidade. Através dessas informações identificou-se o funcionamento do museu, as ações educativas já desenvolvidas, a mediação e a relação com os públicos, destacando os pontos positivos e possibilidades de adequação para que a instituição obtenha um retorno mais satisfatório para a instituição e para os públicos, potencializando a sua função educativa e social.

The present study adresses the educational actions of the Home Museum of Culture Lydia Frey, from the museum education perspective and the specific context of the home-museum typology. The general objective of the research is to analyze the educational actions of the Home Museum of Culture Lydia Frey considering their structuring and effectiveness. As the methodological procedures, online meetings, on-site visits, document analysis, and notes taken at the museum were carried out, all supported and explored through a bibliographic survey. In this sense, it became possible to understand the context in which the institution is situated, to learn about the history of the city up to the construction of the house that later became the museum, as well as to study the family responsible for its construction, which also contributed to the city's origins. Based on this information, it was possible to identify how the museum operates, the education actions that were already developed, the mediation process and its relationship with the public, highlighting positive aspects and potential adjustments so that the institution may achieve more satisfactory outcomes for both the institution and its audiences, enhancing its educational and social role.
