Revascularização pulpar após traumatismo dental

Abstract

Quando um dente sofre um traumatismo que causa dano ao feixe vásculo-nervoso, comumente ocorre a necrose da polpa. Entretanto, diante de condições favoráveis existe a possibilidade de haver a revascularização do tecido pulpar. 0 objetivo deste trabalho foi identificar, através de uma revisão da literatura, os fatores que podem favorecer a revascularização. Diante dos trabalhos revisados foi possível constatar que as chances de haver revascularização são aumentadas quando o dente traumatizado possui ampla abertura foraminal' e é ferulização com contenção semi-rígida que permaneça por no máximo 2 semanas. Nos casos de avulsão dental, a revascularização é favorecida pelo uso tópico de doxiciclina por 5 min e quando o dente é reimplantado em curto período de tempo, e conservado em meio úmido.

When a tooth suffers a trauma that causes damage to the vasculo-nervous bunch, commonly it happens the necrosis of the pulp. However, due to favorable conditions the possibility exists of there being the revascularization of the pulp tissue. The objective of this work was to identify, through a revision of the literature, the factors may be can favor the revascularization. Before the revised works it was possible to verify that the chances of there being healthy revascularization increased when the tooth traumatized possesses wide opening foraminal and it is ferule with semi-rigid contention that stays for at the most 2 weeks. In the cases of dental avulsion. the revascularization is favored by the topical use of doxyciclina by 5 min and when the tooth is reimplantad in short period of time, and conserved in wet means.
