A importância do ensino de teatro para a formação das crianças

Abstract

O presente estudo procura discutir sobre a importância do ensino de teatro para a formação das crianças, focando principalmente, nos possíveis desenvolvimentos que a prática teatral pode proporcionar, tanto para a vida pessoal, quanto para a vida social e para a educação das mesmas. A maior motivação para a realização desta pesquisa é a tentativa de agregar reconhecimento ao ensino do teatro e oportuniza lo para mais crianças. Paralelamente com a pesquisa teórica e buscando resultados para a mesma, analisei a relação do teatro com as crianças, de três turmas nas quais trabalho, inspirada principalmente, nos estudos e metodologias de Viola Spolin. As turmas são compostas por crianças com idades entre 5 e 12 anos e acontecem uma vez por semana nos espaços: Instituto Aloha, uma escola de ensino regular privado e no Espaço Movidança, uma escola livre de artes. A análise foi feita de forma qualitativa, a partir da colheita de depoimentos, para compreender o olhar das crianças sobre o teatro, suas diferentes recepções e percepções e se o teatro está causando transformações nas mesmas. Juntamente com os depoimentos das crianças, analisei a visão dos Coordenadores dos espaços onde as aulas acontecem, para investigar como os mesmos, com um olhar de fora, percebem o efeito do teatro nas crianças praticantes. O objetivo foi demonstrar a importância da prática teatral para a formação das crianças e o reflexo positivo no desenvolvimento pessoal das mesmas. A partir de toda a pesquisa, concluí que, o ensino de teatro para as crianças é de extrema importância, pois, além de divertir, auxilia no desenvolvimento de ferramentas essenciais para o indivíduo, como, coordenação motora, sensorialidade, comunicação, expressão, consciência de coletividade e respeito com o próximo.

This study seeks to discuss the importance of theater teaching for the education of children, focusing mainly on the possible developments that theatrical practice can provide, both for their personal life, as well as for their social life and for their education. The greatest motivation for carrying out this research is the attempt to add recognition to the teaching of theater and create opportunities for more children. In parallel with the theoretical research and seeking results for it, I analyzed the relationship between theater and children, in three classes in which I work, mainly inspired by Viola Spolin's studies and methodologies. The classes are made up of children aged between 5 and 12 and take place once a week in the spaces: Instituto Aloha, a private regular school and Espaço Movidança, a free arts school. The analysis was carried out in a qualitative way, based on the collection of testimonies, in order to understand the children's view of theater, its different receptions and perceptions, and whether theater is causing changes in them. Along with the children's testimonies, I analyzed the Coordinators' vision of the spaces where the classes take place, to investigate how they, from an outside perspective, perceive the effect of theater on practicing children. The objective was to demonstrate the importance of theatrical practice for the formation of children and the positive impact on their personal development. From all the research, I concluded that teaching theater to children is extremely important, because, in addition to having fun, it helps in the development of essential tools for the individual, such as motor coordination, sensoriality, communication, expression, awareness of collectivity and respect for others.
