A desclassificação como perspectiva teórica para os sistemas de organização do conhecimento

Abstract

A informação precisa ser organizada para que possa ser recuperada e acessada com facilidade e eficácia e, por consequência, proporcionar a geração de novos conhecimentos aos usuários. Deste modo, os fatores que no processo de representação e recuperação da informação necessitam ser minimizados. Entre esses fatores está a questão da linguagem utilizada na representação da informação, especialmente o contexto cultural do qual deriva o vocabulário empregado. Nesse aspecto, se evidencia a necessidade de construção e da utilização dos Sistemas de Organização do Conhecimento (SOC), como taxonomias, sistemas de classificação e tesauros. Sua estrutura é composta de termos, conceitos e relações conceituais, com o objetivo de fornecer parâmetros para a representação da informação, sendo que várias são as teorias que embasam o levantamento e a definição de termos. Nessa pesquisa, a proposta é explorar a ideia de desclassificação do conhecimento, do autor Antônio García Gutiérrez, que transporta a prática de desenvolvimento de SOC para o âmbito da discussão sobre a relação entre diferentes culturas, a sub-representação de certas manifestações culturais e as consequências disso no resultado final dos SOC. Desse modo, a pesquisa possui como objetivo geral, verificar como se manifesta a desclassificação com relação aos sistemas de organização do conhecimento. Os objetivos específicos são: a) Apresentar os fundamentos teóricos já consolidados dos SOC; b) Apresentar teorias críticas e socioculturais da Organização do Conhecimento; c) Apresentar os conceitos teóricos da Desclassificação do García Gutiérrez; d) Analisar os conceitos teóricos da desclassificação do García Gutiérrez que se aproximam das questões estruturais e conceituais dos SOC. O método consistirá em realizar aproximações entre os conceitos da desclassificação e os SOC, a análise consistirá em quatro eixos: Extração de alguns dos principais aspectos metodológicos de construção dos SOC; Extração das teorias críticas e socioculturais; Extração dos aspectos conceituais da desclassificação que têm alguma aderência aos processos de construção de SOC; Comparação dos três eixos anteriores de forma a depreender relações teórico-metodológicas relacionadas aos SOC. Pode-se perceber que a desclassificação pode contribuir de forma metodológica quanto a aplicação dos SOC e também agregar na formação do pensamento crítico dos profissionais da informação. Os operadores complexo e transcultural possuem uma ampla aceitação nos SOC com objetivo de promover a inclusão de várias visões do conceito de forma justa, além de denunciar os preconceitos e injustiças sociais presentes nesses instrumentos, e a partir daí de forma transcultural chegar a um consenso em relação a determinados termos e conceitos que poderão ser aceitos, formalizando assim categorias transculturalmente aceitas.

Abstract: Information needs to be organized so that it can be retrieved and accessed easily and effectively and, consequently, providing to the generation of new knowledge to users. In this way, the factors within the process of representation and recovery of information need to be minimized. The issue of the language lies among these factors which are used to represent information, especially the cultural context from which the vocabulary used derives. In this aspect, the need for the construction and use of Knowledge Organization Systems (SOC), such as taxonomies, classification systems and thesauruses, is quite clear. Its structure is made up of terms, concepts, and conceptual relationships, aiming to provide parameters for the representation of information, and being that there are several theories that support the survey and definition of terms. In this research, the proposal is to explore the idea of declassification of knowledge, by the author Antônio García Gutiérrez, which transports the practice of SOC development to the scope of the discussion about the relationship between different cultures, the underrepresentation of certain cultural manifestations and the consequences of this on the ending result of the SOC. This way, the research's general objective is to verify how declassification manifests itself in relation to knowledge organization systems. The specific objectives are a) Present the already consolidated theoretical foundations of SOC; b) Present critical and sociocultural theories of Knowledge Organization; c) Present the theoretical concepts of the Declassification of Garcia Gutiérrez; d) Analyze the theoretical concepts of García Gutiérrez's declassification that are closer to the structural and conceptual issues of the SOC. The method aims of making approximations between the concepts of declassification and the SOC, the analysis will consist of four axes: Extraction of some of the main methodological aspects of building the SOC; Extraction of critical and socio-cultural theories; The extraction of the conceptual aspects of declassification that have some adherence to the SOC construction processes; Comparison of the three previous axes in order to understand theoretical-methodological relationships related to SOC. It is obvious and notable that declassification can contribute methodologically to the application of SOC as well as to the formation of critical thinking among information professionals as well. The Complex and transcultural operators have wide acceptance in SOC with the aim of promoting the inclusion of various views of the concept in a fair way, in addition to denouncing the prejudices and social injustices present in these instruments, and from there, in a transcultural way, reaching a consensus in relation to certain terms and concepts that may be accepted, formalizing transculturally accepted categories anyways.
