Abstract:

This article describes the composition of a briefing, presenting it as a strategic resource for project
efficiency and its contribution to a sustainable society. For this, bibliographical research and
experiences from project practice were used, demonstrating the importance of the briefing in the
scope of materials and a case of a project development where the designer/architect added
sustainability values to the project, contributing to its quality and its transformative potential.
Finally, it presents a checklist of elements to be considered when composing the briefing of a project,
as a tool to put into practice the strategic importance of this instrument for the quality of the project
and its contribution to sustainability. |
