Abstract

This paper proposes a bibliographic review of sustainable development and the main projects adopted for the implementation of sustainability in civil construction. It has as main objective an evaluation of civil projects with environmental certification and an analysis of the criteria used. These values will be studied during the professional development of undergraduate students of civil and environmental engineering. In order to carry out the research, a student form was applied with the purpose of analyzing how expectations regarding sustainability in buildings. Therefore, we realized the need to implement eco-efficient practices in educational networks, contributing to an accessible and performing sustainability in buildings, with the purpose of minimizing environmental impacts and improving man's relationship with the environment in future constructions. In this way, projects for environmental assessment and classification of buildings can become the main program to reduce the prevalence of environmental impacts in the construction industry.
