This paper presents the report of a didactic-pedagogical experience within a higher technology course
in Product Design through approaches of active methodologies, more specifically those by Problem-Based and Project-Based Learning. This learning practice proved to be successful and
served as the basis for replicating similar experiences in other semesters. Within this proposal, the
emphasis of the teaching practice was given by the development of design projects that were oriented
towards sustainability and that, therefore, should start from a real social, economic and/or
environmental demand. To this end, a team of students diagnosed the problem of incorrect disposal of
cooking oil, which generates a significant impact, especially on the environment. The solution was the
development of a conceptual mobile application that assists in the reuse and correct disposal of
post-use cooking oil |
