Abstract:

This article presents the concept of Sustainable Innovative Cities and reflections on the structuring
aspects of Urban Management, that is, governance, innovation and sustainability. A methodological
procedure called exploratory research is proposed. It is based on the use of the Co-creation approach
as an open innovation in the study, to identify the structuring aspects of Urban Management, and
reflections are presented on the importance of these aspects to establish the understanding of three
interrelations of the Urban System: the urban axes, virtual communities of practice and forms of
collaborative communication. The study points out important information for the improvement of the
model of the Virtual Network of Urban Collaborative Communication, an Urban Management strategy that aims at the joint action of urban agents in solving urban situations/problems, thus seeking a better
quality of sustainable life and innovative for Cities. |
