This research has as its theme the assessment of sustainability considering an integrated vision
between building and city, being part of a larger research that aims to develop an application forsustainability management in a neighborhood. More specifically, based on the principle that it is
necessary to evaluate in order to make a decision about which technologies should be incorporated
into the built environment, a model for sustainability management in the building is proposed,
reaching the cities. To exemplify the application of the ESA - Building Model, carried out according to
a three-dimensional interrelationship, in view of the three dimensions of sustainability, building was
used in a hypothetical urban context, and fictitious indicators for three scenarios. As a result, a
simulated application of a method for evaluating the sustainability of buildings was obtained,
considering the urban structure where the building is/will be inserted, the strategies/conducts used
throughout the life cycle and the performance obtained in relation to the economic, social and
environmental. |
