Desenvolvimento de orientações para a implantação e gestão de horta educativa agroecológica

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho foi desenvolver estratégias e orientações de educação agroecológica para o ambiente educacional e realizar atividades promovendo a Agroecologia em uma horta educativa. As atividades foram realizadas em Florianópolis-SC, em um espaço pedagógico de atendimento de contraturno escolar para crianças em situação de vulnerabilidade social, em oito encontros entre os meses de Maio e Junho de 2022, divididas em atividades teóricas (aulas de Educação Ambiental e agroecológica) e práticas. Os resultados foram a revitalização da horta com a ajuda dos estudantes e o desenvolvimento do "Guia Prático: Horta educativa agroecológica", no editor gráfico Canva. A teoria da sala de aula e a prática aprendida na horta educativa agregaram conhecimento e instigaram a criatividade e curiosidade dos participantes e serviu de fomento para o processo educativo. O Guia servirá de apoio e indicará uma literatura benéfica para a manutenção das hortas educativas, ajudando a impedir o abandono destas.

The objective of this work was to develop agroecological education strategies and guidelines for the school environment and carry out activities promoting agroecology in a school garden. The activities were carried out in Florianópolis-SC, in a pedagogical space for after-school attendance for children in situations of social vulnerability, in eight meetings between May and June 2022, divided into theoretical (environmental and agroecological education classes) and practical activities. The results were the revitalization of the vegetable garden with the help of students and the development of the 'Practical Guide: Agroecological School Garden', in the graphic editor Canva. The theory of the classroom and the practice learned in the school garden added knowledge and instigated the creativity and curiosity of the participants and served as a stimulus for their education process. The Guide will provide support and will indicate beneficial literature for the maintenance of school gardens, helping to prevent their abandonment.
