In the year 2010, the city of Caxias do Sul received a large number of Senegalese immigrants, but
even after six years, there is still prejudice and lack of support for the language. This project aims
to assist the insertion of immigrants in the Caxian society and reduce prejudice, through the
resources offered by graphic and social design. For this, methodologies of data collection, field
research, and creativity tools were used to generate alternatives. Based on the collected data, the
Immigrant Handbook was developed, which helps in locomotion and communication. To combat
prejudice, a series of posters was developed that also helps in the dissemination of the Collective
Ser Legal. Thus, the project promotes the sustainability of the city, involving the social pillar with
the insertion, the economic pillar, because the union will promote development and the
environmental pillar, being the dissemination by means of communication. |
