Reutilização de materiais para desenvolvimento de trabalhos nas disciplinas de Plástica

Abstract

Design is an expanding area, and it uses physical and virtual materials. These materials can become accumulated and even discarded, increasing their disuse, especially when used in classes work. In this context, the present article reports on the reuse of materials for the development of some activities of the classes of Plastic Arts in the Superior Course of Graphic Design in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB), in the semester of 2016.1. The study is based on a bibliographical review about a sustainability awareness for the design professional, the diagnosis of the problem with images of the unused materials and the result of the activities done with these materials. The research concludes that the reuse of materials reduces their impact on the environment, as well as promoting environmental awareness among students.
