A oralidade na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) do Ensino Médio

Abstract

O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a maneira como a oralidade é discursivada na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) do Ensino Médio, documento criado pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) para regulamentar noções de aprendizagens fundamentais a serem desenvolvidas ao longo de todas as etapas da Educação Básica. O conceito de oralidade é entendida aqui a partir de uma perspectiva orientada pelas políticas linguísticas críticas, o que significa considerar a oralidade como prática social e historicamente contextualizada. Sendo assim, o texto está organizado em quatro partes: primeiramente, contextualiza a área das políticas linguísticas críticas e a articula com o ensino de língua. Em seguida, discute as condições de produção da Base Nacional Comum Curricular. Depois, se volta para o ensino da oralidade, com atenção especial ao entendimento da oralidade como a articulação das práticas orais e da tradição oral. Fundamentado nessa discussão teórica, analisa, por fim, a maneira como a oralidade é discursivada na Base Nacional Comum Curricular, com enfoque no Ensino Médio e sua relação com a Educação Infantil e o Ensino Fundamental. Embora se reconheça a visibilidade conferida à oralidade pela BNCC, o trabalho expressa algumas ressalvas sobre esse enfoque, reconhecendo que o tratamento da oralidade se encontra ainda baseado em uma visão escalonar, hierarquizadora e sistematizadora das práticas orais.

This undergraduate dissertation aims to analyze how the concept of orality is expressed in the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), a document created by the Ministry of Education (MEC) to regulate fundamental learning notions to be developed throughout all stages of education. The concept of orality is understood here from a critical language policy perspective, which means considering orality as a social and historically contextualized practice. Therefore, the text is organized into four parts: first, we contextualize the critical language policy area and its relationship with language teaching. Then, we discuss the National Curricular Common Base’s production conditions. Afterward, we approach orality as an educational subject, paying special attention to the understanding of orality as the link between oral practices and oral traditions. Based on this theoretical discussion, we analyze, finally, the role played by orality in the National Common Curricular Base, focusing on what the document proposes to High School Education. Although we recognize the visibility given to orality by the BNCC, we express some reservations about this approach, recognizing that, in it, orality is still based on a scalar, hierarchical and systematizing view of oral practices.
