REVISÃO DA LITERATURA SOBRE A SAÚDE MENTAL DOS PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE, NO AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR, DURANTE O ENFRENTAMENTO DA PANDEMIA DE COVID- 19

Abstract

Introdução: O ambiente hospitalar é considerado um lugar estressor em razão da grande demanda de trabalho, com a pandemia covid19, ele se tornou ainda mais saturado. Como consequência, a saúde mental dos profissionais atuantes passou a sofrer, surgindo assim á necessidade de uma intervenção. Objetivo: O presente estudo foi revisar a literatura assuntos pertinentes a saúde mental dos profissionais da saúde em ambiente hospitalar, especialmente, durante o período de pandemia, covid19. Métodos: Foram selecionados quatro temas de abordagem e foco em busca dos artigos sendo eles: 1) os temas abordados foram o papel da instituição no suporte de saúde mental dos trabalhadores no ambiente hospitalar; 2) os principais fatores de agravos para a saúde mental dos trabalhadores em ambiente hospitalar; 3) a capacitação profissional; e 4) o atendimento psicoterapêutico para os profissionais de saúde dos hospitais. Os artigos sobre estes temas foram selecionados e lidos na integra e apresentados neste estudo. Considerações Finais: considerando este período de pandemia, ficou evidente o declínio na saúde mental dos profissionais da saúde. Esse cenário demonstra a necessidade de um olhar sobre possibilidade, estratégias e ações a curto, médio e longo prazo que possam ser eficientes e eficazes para promover a saúde mental de trabalhadores em ambiente hospitalar. A saúde dos trabalhadores é fundamental e deve ser alvo de cuidados e investimento permanentemente dentro das instituições. Introduction: The hospital environment is considered a stressful place due to the great demand for work, with the covid19 pandemic, it has become even more saturated. As a result, the mental health of working professionals began to suffer, thus creating the need for an intervention. Objective: The present study was to review the literature on issues relevant to the mental health of health professionals in a hospital environment, especially during the pandemic period, covid19. Methods: Four themes of approach and focus were selected in the search for articles, namely: 1) the themes addressed were the role of the institution in the mental health support of workers in the hospital environment; 2) the main factors that affect the mental health of workers in a hospital environment; 3) professional training; and 4) psychotherapeutic care for hospital health professionals. The articles on these topics were selected and read in full and presented in this study. Results: Considering this pandemic period, the decline in the mental health of health professionals was evident. This scenario demonstrates the need for a look at the possibility, strategies and actions in the short, medium and long term that can be efficient and effective to promote the mental health of workers in a hospital environment. The health of workers is fundamental and must be permanently cared for and invested in within the institutions.
