As críticas de Schopenhauer à filosofia moral kantiana

Abstract

Kant (1724-1804) teve sobre Schopenhauer (1788-1860) grande influência, embora este último tenha sido um dos seus principais críticos. Uma dessas críticas será tomada como objeto de estudo desta dissertação, a saber, a questão da moral. Serão apresentadas, pois, as críticas que Schopenhauer faz à filosofia moral de seu mestre, considerando principalmente ? mas não exclusivamente ? a questão da fundamentação racional da moral, a qual parece ser a mais importante dessas críticas ? sendo também o fio condutor de Schopenhauer segundo ele próprio diz em Sobre o fundamento da moral (SCHOPENHAUER, 1995, p. 20). É a partir dessa questão que se torna possível entender melhor aquilo que Schopenhauer considera problemático na filosofia moral kantiana.<br>

Abstract : Kant (1724-1804) had on Schopenhauer (1788-1860) great influence, although the disciple has been one of its main critics. One of his criticisms will be taken as an object of study of this dissertation ? the issue of morality. Will be presented, therefore the objections that Schopenhauer makes on the moral philosophy of his master, with the deal here mainly ? but not exclusively ? with the question of the rational foundation of morality, which seems to be the most important of these criticisms ? which is also the Schopenhauer?s wire conductor as he himself says in On the basis of morality (SCHOPENHAUER, 1995, p. 20). It is from this point that it becomes possible to understand better what Schopenhauer considered problematic in Kant's moral philosophy.
