MIGRAÇÃO E REFÚGIO NA INFÂNCIA: UM ESTUDO BIBLIOGRÁFICO

Abstract

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como objetivo geral analisar as produções acadêmicas que abordam a escolarização de crianças migrantes e refugiadas no Brasil, buscando compreender as perspectivas metodológicas e os pressupostos teóricos, assim como os desafios da inserção escolar de crianças migrantes e refugiadas na educação pública brasileira. A pesquisa, de natureza qualitativa e caráter bibliográfico, analisou quatro produções recentes, três dissertações e uma tese, que discutem a relação entre migração, infância e escolarização em diferentes contextos. As produções que compõem a amostra analisada foram localizadas por meio de uma busca na Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações (BDTD). A partir da primeira busca, empreendeu-se a leitura dos títulos, palavras-chave e resumos, selecionando apenas os trabalhos que se enquadravam nos parâmetros deste estudo, ou seja, teses e dissertações que têm por objeto a migração e o refúgio na infância. A análise evidenciou a complexidade do fenômeno migratório, ressaltando a necessidade de compreendê-lo como um sintoma e aspecto estrutural da sociedade e não apenas como um evento pontual, o que implica reconhecer seus efeitos nas dinâmicas educacionais e nas experiências escolares das crianças migrantes.

This Bachelor’s Thesis aims to analyze academic works that address the schooling of migrant and refugee children in Brazil. The goal is to understand the methodological perspectives and theoretical assumptions, as well as the challenges of the school inclusion of migrant and refugee children in Brazilian public education. The research has a qualitative and bibliographic approach. We analyzed four recent works—three dissertations and one thesis—that discuss the relationship between migration, childhood, and schooling in different contexts. The works comprising the analyzed sample were located through a search in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD). From the initial search, the titles, keywords, and abstracts were read, selecting only those works that fit the parameters of this study, that is, theses and dissertations that focus on migration and refuge in childhood. The analysis highlighted the complexity of the migratory phenomenon, emphasizing the need to understand it as a symptom and structural aspect of society, and not merely as a one-off event. This implies recognizing its effects on educational dynamics and the school experiences of migrant children.
