Memórias e subjetividades como paralelas e transversais: emoções e gênero nas narrativas das eleitas para o executivo e legislativo municipal em Catunda ? CE (1992 ? 2020)

Abstract

A presente pesquisa busca problematizar as questões de gênero e das emoções a partir das vivências e experiências narradas pelas mulheres eleitas para o executivo e legislativo municipal em Catunda entre 1992 e 2020, para compreender as trajetórias dessas mulheres na política formal no interior do estado do Ceará e as dinâmicas que elas mobilizam ao ocuparem espaços de poder. Trata-se de uma pesquisa situada localmente, mas conectada a debates e processos históricos e políticos globais. O referencial teórico mobiliza contribuições de Pierre Bourdieu, especialmente os conceitos de habitus, capital e campo, articulados aos estudos de gênero e das emoções, possibilitando compreender tanto as singularidades das trajetórias políticas ? entendidas como linhas paralelas ? quanto as regularidades que as atravessam ? concebidas como linhas transversais. Ao analisar as entrevistas realizadas entre outubro e novembro de 2021 se evidenciou que as trajetórias dessas mulheres são marcadas por suas subjetividades e pelos contextos das narrativas, assim como por desafios estruturais relacionados ao sistema patriarcal supremacista branca capitalista imperialista. O campo das emoções foi importante para compreender as formas pelas quais essas mulheres constroem vínculos ? amizade -, enfrentam as múltiplas violências ? materiais e simbólicas ? e mobilizam afetos enquanto estratégias de legitimação de suas práticas políticas. Além das entrevistas, outras fontes foram importantes para aprofundar as reflexões que seguem, tais como episódios do podcast da rádio local ? Podver na Rádio Planalto FM ?, onde algumas dessas eleitas foram convidadas para pensar suas trajetórias na política catundense. Ainda, em periódicos do Diário do Nordeste encontrados na Hemetoreca da Biblioteca do Estado do Ceará, alguns registros em atas da Câmara Municipal e, também, cordéis, discursos e fotografias disponíveis nos arquivos pessoais dessas mulheres.

Abstract: This research seeks to address issues of gender and emotions based on the experiences narrated by women elected to municipal executive and legislative positions in Catunda between 1992 and 2020, in order to understand these women's trajectories in formal politics in the interior of the state of Ceará and the dynamics they mobilize when occupying positions of power. This is a locally situated study, but one that is connected to global historical and political debates and processes. The theoretical framework draws on contributions from Pierre Bourdieu, especially the concepts of habitus, capital, and field, articulated with gender and emotion studies, enabling an understanding of both the singularities of political trajectories?understood as parallel lines?and the regularities that traverse them?conceived as transversal lines. An analysis of the interviews conducted between October and November 2021 revealed that these women's trajectories are marked by their subjectivities and the contexts of their narratives, as well as by structural challenges related to the imperialist, capitalist, white supremacist patriarchal system. The field of emotions was important for understanding the ways in which these women build bonds?friendships?face multiple forms of violence?material and symbolic?and mobilize affections as strategies for legitimizing their political practices. In addition to the interviews, other sources were important for deepening the reflections that follow, such as episodes of the local radio podcast ? Podver on Rádio Planalto FM ? where some of these elected officials were invited to reflect on their trajectories in Catundense politics. Also important were issues of the Diário do Nordeste newspaper found in the Hemetoreca of the Ceará State Library, some records in the minutes of the City Council, and also cordel literature, speeches, and photographs available in the personal archives of these women.
