Povoamento do Alto Vale do Itajaí: estudo de caso do sítio arqueológico SC-VI-113

Abstract

A presente pesquisa analisa o conjunto lítico do sítio arqueológico SC-VI-113, localizado no município de Itaiópolis/SC, na porção norte do Alto Vale do Itajaí. O sítio foi alvo de intervenções em 1973, realizadas por Alroíno Eble, e sua coleção encontra-se acondicionada no Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da UFSC (MArquE). Apesar da escassez de dados e da documentação produzida durante as intervenções, este estudo tem como objetivo compreender a caracterização tecnológica do conjunto artefactual coletado. Além disso, busca-se comparar os dados obtidos por meio da análise tecnológica com outros conjuntos líticos em diferentes contextos arqueológicos na região do Alto Vale do Itajaí, buscando estabelecer relações entre as escolhas culturais observadas no sítio SC-VI-113 e discussões mais amplas sobre a composição das indústrias líticas e as dinâmicas de ocupação no Alto Vale do Itajaí.

This research analyzes the lithic assemblage from the SC-VI-113 archaeological site, located in the municipality of Itaiópolis/SC, in the northern part of the Upper Itajaí Valley. The site was the subject of interventions in 1973, carried out by Alroíno Eble, and his collection is housed in the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (MArquE). Despite the scarcity of data and documentation produced during the interventions, this study aims to understand the technological characterization of the artifact collection. In addition, it seeks to compare the data obtained through technological analysis with other lithic assemblages in different archaeological contexts in the Upper Itajaí Valley region, seeking to establish relationships between the cultural choices observed at the SC-VI113 site and broader discussions about the composition of lithic industries and the dynamics of occupation in the Upper Itajaí Valley.
