Investimento em obras de saneamento básico no Brasil de 2018 a 2022 e suas projeções

Abstract

Esta pesquisa discutiu informações importantes sobre saneamento básico no Brasil e a sua correlação com as metas apresentadas no Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) nº 06, a qual refere-se à água potável e saneamento, serviços imprescindíveis ao bem-estar da população. Além disso, apresentou os dados públicos sobre as principais obras executadas na área de saneamento entre 2018 a 2022. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é apresentar as informações sobre os investimentos na área de saneamento básico, e a correlação com o cumprimento das metas até 2033 com alcance de 90% e 98% da população brasileira. Os dados discutidos foram extraídos de fontes públicas, como Sistema Nacional de Informações sobre Saneamento (SNIS); Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), e Pesquisa Anual da Indústria da Construção (PAIC). Os resultados evidenciam que as principais obras realizadas são redes de água e esgotos, e os investimentos anuais são aproximados aos 20 bilhões de reais.

This research discussed important information about basic sanitation in Brazil and its correlation with the targets presented in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 06, which refers to drinking water and sanitation, essential services for the well-being of the population. In addition, it presented public data on the main works carried out in the sanitation area between 2018 and 2022. The objective of this research is to present information on investments in the area of basic sanitation, and the correlation with the fulfillment of the goals by 2033, reaching 90% and 98% of the Brazilian population. The data discussed were extracted from public sources, such as the National Sanitation Information System (SNIS); Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), and Annual Survey of the Construction Industry (PAIC). The results show that the main works carried out are water and sewage networks, and annual investments are approximately 20 million reais.
