Narrativa jornalística de Trivela: a trajetória da Argentina na Copa do Mundo de 2022

Abstract

Esta pesquisa pretende compreender de que forma a Trivela articula elementos narrativos nos textos da cobertura da trajetória da Argentina na Copa do Mundo de 2022. Para responder ao objetivo geral, o estudo tem como objetivos específicos discutir, conceitualmente, da perspectiva histórica e teórica, os Jornalismos especializado e esportivo; compreender a cobertura sobre futebol como território para narrativas jornalísticas diferenciadas; e buscar características narrativas nas matérias que envolvem a seleção argentina, para perceber como esse recorte se relaciona à cobertura do mundial. Como justificativa, está o interesse em tratar da prática jornalística por meio das narrativas futebolísticas, tendo o esporte como fenômeno social e manifestação cultural. A pesquisa é estruturada em três capítulos, como setores de um campo de futebol: de abordagem teórica; metodológica; e analítica. Para contemplar a repercussão da final, o recorte temporal da análise é estabelecido entre a abertura, em 20 de novembro, e dois dias depois da decisão, em 20 de dezembro de 2022. Como procedimento e técnica de interpretação, inicialmente, o corpus considera duas categorizações: primeiro, propõe uma Análise de Conteúdo (Bardin, 2016) de 370 matérias da cobertura da Trivela no mundial para tratar da construção textual, recurso utilizado também para os 55 textos que envolvem La Selección. Esta estratégia é artifício preparatório para a segunda categoria, de formação narrativa, quando se desenvolve uma Análise Crítica da Narrativa sobre a trajetória Albiceleste. São adotados os planos de expressão, estória e metanarrativa, orientados por sete movimentos metodológicos propostos por Motta (2013). Entende-se que textos sobre personagens do jogo são diferenciais da publicação, tendo em crônicas e textos históricos mais investimento narrativo, perceptível quando as matérias diminuem em quantidade e aumentam em intensidade. Conclui-se que, na trajetória da Argentina na Copa do Mundo de 2022, Trivela articula elementos narrativos em quatro núcleos: a partir da construção da linguagem; da formatação do texto; da composição do enredo e da criação de uma narrativa sobre o tri Albiceleste. No primeiro deles, a Trivela privilegia os efeitos de sentido, com destaque à perspectiva interpretativa e opinativa, com ritmos narrativos oscilando. São usados recursos estéticos como adjetivações, hipérboles, metáforas e outras figuras de linguagem, além de efeitos de retardamento, suspense, desenlace, ênfase e do suporte de dêiticos, em um vaivém temporal, na construção de um cenário conflituoso e de crescente tensão narrativa. No segundo núcleo, gêneros, formatos e propostas textuais carregam certas intenções e mobilizam características determinadas: relatos de jogo são cronológicos e descritivos; repercussões se aproximam de relatos noticiosos; textos de personagem exploram sentido autoral; e históricos buscam tópicos contextuais. No terceiro núcleo, enredos constroem representações narrativas por meio de expectativa, surpresa e decepção, ressaltando aspectos emocionais, psicológicos e comportamentais do jogo. Recursos fáticos e fictícios, efeitos de sentido, prolepse e analepse compõem a temporalidade dos relatos, em que adversários são meros obstáculos à conquista do mundial, em uma metanarrativa de heroísmo, superação e expectativa. Na narrativa jornalística de Trivela, Lionel Messi é o protagonista em sua última dança, entre o drama e a apoteose da trajetória Albiceleste.

Abstract: This research aims to understand how Trivela articulates narrative elements in the texts covering Argentina's trajectory in the 2022 World Cup. To respond to the general objective, the study's specific objectives are to discuss, conceptually, from a historical and theoretical perspective, specialized and sports journalism; understand football coverage as a territory for different journalistic narratives; and look for narrative characteristics in the articles involving the Argentine national team, to understand how this section relates to World Cup coverage. The justification is the interest in dealing with journalistic practice through football narratives, considering sport as a social phenomenon and cultural manifestation. The research is structured into three chapters, like sectors of a football field: theoretical; methodological; and analytical approach. To contemplate the repercussion of the final game, the time frame of the analysis is established between the opening, on November 20, and two days after the decision, on December 20, 2022. As a procedure and interpretation technique, initially, the corpus considers two categorizations: first, it proposes a Content Analysis (Bardin, 2016) of 370 articles from Trivela's World Cup coverage to address textual construction, a resource also used for the 55 texts involving La Selección. This strategy is a preparatory device for the second category, narrative formation, when a Critical Narrative Analysis is developed on the Albiceleste trajectory. The plans of expression, story and metanarrative are adopted, guided by seven methodological movements proposed by Motta (2013). It?s understood that texts about game characters are differentiators of the publication, with chronicles and historical texts having more narrative investment, noticeable when the articles decrease in quantity and increase in intensity. It?s concluded that, in Argentina's trajectory in the 2022 World Cup, Trivela articulates narrative elements into four nuclei: based on the construction of language; text formatting; the composition of the plot and the creation of a narrative about the tri Albiceleste. In the first of them, Trivela privileges the effects of meaning, with emphasis on the interpretative and opinionative perspective, with oscillating narrative rhythms. Aesthetic resources such as adjectives, hyperboles, metaphors and other figures of speech are used, as well as effects of delay, suspense, denouement, emphasis and the support of deictics, in a temporal back-and-forth, in the construction of a conflicting scenario and increasing narrative tension. In the second nucleus, genres, formats and textual proposals carry certain intentions and mobilize certain characteristics: game reports are chronological and descriptive; repercussions come close to news reports; character texts explore authorial meaning; and historical texts look for contextual topics. In the third nucleus, plots build narrative representations through expectation, surprise and disappointment, highlighting emotional, psychological and behavioral aspects of the game. Factual and fictitious resources, effects of meaning, prolepsis and analepsis make up the temporality of the reports, in which opponents are mere obstacles to winning the World Cup, in a metanarrative of heroism, overcoming and expectation. In Trivela's journalistic narrative, Lionel Messi is the protagonist in his last dance, between the drama and the apotheosis of the Albiceleste trajectory.
