dc.description.abstract This article presents the report of a case study in the curricular component of Extension Experiences and presents the activities carried out, as well as the procedures and results of the application. The objective of the proposal was to carry out a documentary and awareness campaign for the implementation of urban gardens in the neighborhoods of Joinville (SC). To execute the project, the Double Diamond method was chosen, which contains the Discover, Define, Develop and Validate stages, and for community monitoring and collaboration, one platform was adopted. As a result, the materials developed for the campaign are presented, as well as a discussion on the significant role that extension experiences play in academic training. pt_BR
