Relatório de estágio curricular obrigatório em clínica médica de pequenos animais

Abstract

O estágio curricular obrigatório, que acontece na décima fase do curso de Medicina Veterinária, é um momento crucial na formação do acadêmico, visando seu crescimento pessoal, profissional e com a oportunidade de colocar em prática os aprendizados da graduação sob supervisão de médicos veterinários especialistas e residentes dos locais de estágio escolhidos. O presente relatório possui como objetivo principal relatar o período de estágio na área de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais nos dois hospitais concedentes, iniciando pela descrição do local e funcionamento, seguido das atividades realizadas, a casuística acompanhada em cada lugar e a discussão final sobre a mesma. Os locais de escolha foram dois hospitais escola. O primeiro a ser realizado foi no Hospital Clínico Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Pelotas, e o último foi no Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, totalizando uma carga horária final de 450 horas.

The mandatory curricular internship, which takes place in the tenth phase of the Veterinary Medicine course, is a crucial moment in the formation of the academic, aiming at his personal, professional growth, and with the opportunity to put into practice the undergraduate learnings under the supervision of specialist veterinarians and residents of the chosen internship locations. The main objective of this report is to report the internship period in the Small Animal Medical Clinic area in the two granting hospitals, starting with the description of the place and operation, followed by the activities carried out, the casuistry followed in each place and the final discussion about it. The places of choice were two teaching hospitals. The first to be carried out was the Veterinary Clinical Hospital of the Federal University of Pelotas, and the last one was the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Uberlândia, totaling a final workload of 450 hours.
