dc.description.abstract This study aims to analyse the direct administration sustainable procurement from 2011 to 2015 as a sustainable development tool. The analysis counted on secondary data collected through Comprasnet and Federal Government Procurement Panel. There was an increase in the investment in sustainable goods in the period, but it is still an ongoing process. It was also found that most of the bids were related to office products, especially recycled paper and biodegradable cleaning materials. Many other processes may be considered and adopted for sustainable development in order to have a desirable effect on the economy and society as a whole, through production and sustainable consumption. pt_BR
