O leitor contemporâneo de noite na taverna:o que a internet tem a nos revelar

Abstract

5Resumo:A pesquisa teve como objetivo fazer uma análise de críticas e\ou resenhas publicadas por internautas em blogs e redes sociais dedicados à literatura -mais especificamente o Skoob –sobre a novela Noite na taverna de Álvares de Azevedo. Coletou-se um corpusde 10 textos, para a realização de uma análise de caráter qualitativo, baseada teoricamente na estética da recepção, especialmente no trabalho do crítico literário alemão Hans Rober Jauss .As ideias de Jauss sobre a crítica e historiografia literárias fundaram a estética da recepção, invertendo o eixo da teoria literária da produção para a recepção dos textos; aplicando os conceitos de horizonte de expectativas e da lógica da pergunta e resposta na interpretação de textos de outras épocas. Após uma retrospectiva da fortuna crítica de Noite na tavernaem meio impresso, realizou-se a análise dos textos publicados na Internet. As principais categorias de análise detectadas foram a transgressão, a filiação ao ultrarromantismo de Lord Byron e o romance gótico, a juventude de Álvares de Azevedo e a condiçãofeminina na novela. O inacabamento estético de Noite na taverna, justificado pela sua juventude, e o tratamento às personagens femininas foram os pontos que geraram polêmica entre os textos escolhidos, gerando uma não apreciação da obra por alguns leitores. Ao passo que outros leitores acolheram a obra, impressionados pela sublimação de negatividades morais e estéticas em uma linguagem considerada poética e de alto nível estético. Concluiu-se que o horizonte de expectativas contemporâneo de Noite na taverna é em boa parte modelado pela instituição escolar, não só pelo fato de quatro textos terem relação com a escola e seu ambiente circundante, mas também pela notável influência da classificação de eras e estilos literários convencionado pelo ensino secundário no corpus coletado.

6ABSTRACTThe research aimed to make an analysis of criticisms and \or reviews published by internet users on blogs and social networks dedicated to literature -more specifically Skoob -about the romance A Night in the tavern of Álvares de Azevedo. A corpus of 10texts was collected to carry out a qualitative analysis, theoretically based on the Reception theory, especially on the work of the German literary critic Hans Rober Jauss. Jauss's ideas on literary criticism and historiography founded the Reception theory, inverting the axis of literary production theory for the reception of texts; applying the concepts of horizon of expectation and the question and answer logic in the interpretation of texts from other times. After a retrospective of the critical fortuneof A Night in the tavern in traditional print form, the analysis of texts published on the Internet was carried out. The main categories of analysis detected were transgression, the affiliation to Lord Byron's dark romantism and the Gothic novel, the youth of Álvares de Azevedo and the female condition in the novel. The aesthetic flaws of Night on the tavern, justified by his youth, and the treatment of female characters were the points that generated controversy among the chosen texts, generating a lack of appreciation of the work by some readers. While other readers welcomed the work, impressed by the sublimation of moral and aesthetic negativities in a language considered poetic and of a high aesthetic level. It was concluded that the contemporary horizon expectations of A Night in the tavern is largely modeled by the school institution, not only because four texts are related to the school and its surrounding environment, but also due to the notable influence of the classification of ages and literary schools works agreed by secondary education in the collected corpus.
