Condutas clínicas utilizadas por cirurgiões-dentistas em clareamento de dentes vitais.

Abstract

No presente trabalho foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo com 36 cirurgiões-dentistas que responderam as questões relativas à conduta clínica utilizada no tratamento clareador de dentes vitais. Apesar das diversas condutas adotadas almeja-se o efeito clareador satisfatório no final do tratamento. A supervisão do cirurgião-dentista como também a sua atualização se tornam indispensáveis neste procedimento que vem a ser realizado muitas vezes de forma empírica. Por isso, atenção deve ser dada aos novos estudos e tecnologias, visto que a atualização odontológica beneficia o profissional para que atinja melhores resultados com ausência ou mínimos de efeitos adversos.

In the present study a field survey of 36 dentists answered questions relating to clinical management used in the bleaching of vital teeth was performed. Despite the various approaches adopted crave is satisfactory bleaching effect at the end of treatment. The supervision of the dentist as well as its update become indispensable in this procedure that has to be done often empirically. Therefore, attention should be given to new studies and technologies, since the upgrade benefits the dental professional to achieve the best result with no or minimal adverse effects.
